Japanese Print Marquetry Panel

A minimal composition of intersecting paths in wood.

One of my early marquetry pieces, commissioned by a private client and inspired by Japanese prints. Built on a black Valchromat base with veneers of American walnut, birch, white ebony and green‑stained ash, it plays with crossing lines and contrast to suggest movement and calm.
